“Bjorn Borg Personal” Tennis Racquet used by Björn Borg during US Open competition playBjörn Borg played with racquets from two companies during his career—Bancroft while playing in the United States and Donnay when playing in Europe. This racquet is described as a wooden laminated tennis racquet (ash and maple laminated frame) with gut strings. The racquet had an oval head and a concave throat. The throat and handle and painted black with white text. The grip is wrapped in brown leather and the butt-cap is white plastic. Gift of Bob Bache, 2016
