Jaime Figura is one of the most mysterious contemporary artists and conceptualist living in Salvador. He creates those heavy industrial outfits as pictured above from all available rough materials - he creates for himself a symbolic armour of an urban knight from garbage, advertising posters of local political leaders, old textile, artificial leather and iron plates and tubes. He communicates with people quite actively - we saw him drinking a beer in a local barzinho not far from Cruz do Pascoal like a common person of Salvador and nobody did not really paid any attention to the fact that Jaime was wearing an iron mask on his face.
