WWII-era artillery shell found in undeveloped Olathe KS

U.S. Army explosive ordnance experts from Fort Riley were called to handle the safe removal and disposal of the artillery shell, according to the Olathe Fire Department.
An excavating crew working in suburban Olathe KS on Thursday afternoon discovered a live artillery shell believed to be from the World War II era.
