  A pocket watch, just as the name implies, is a watch that is carried in the pocket. It is very well different from a wrist watch which is most commonly used by people and fastened to the wrist.   It came into existence in the year 1510, in Nuremberg, Germany, where Peter Henlein who was a master locksmith invented it.
