Boye produced hooks with this marking style from the 1930s through the 1940s. They must have made a gazillion of them! Being one of the older styles, they remain the most abundant. Throughout the decades, Boye hooks have remained very consistent, at least the ones made in USA. The hooks in this listing do not have the millimeter size marked on them, but they are the same sizes as the ones that are marked. You are welcome to download the size chart in the images These are STEEL hooks for THREAD crochet. The sizes are detailed in the first column to the left on the size chart. They are VERY old (50 - 75 years), previously owned and have been used. Some are stained, a few are a bit less than straight.⚠️ ⚠️The finish is not perfect on many of them and there may be blemishes on the grip and or handle. That said, the important part, the actual hook has been examined under magnification and tested for snags.⚠️ ⚠️I am a crocheter too, so be confident that I won't send you anything that I wouldn't use. I have very high standards for the more common hooks and needles that I sell in this shop. If I wouldn't use it to knit or crochet with, it gets put aside for the up-cycle artists.
