The lush jungle concourse and stonework of Copley Place in downtown Boston, MA attracts hundreds of tourists a day for its grandiosity -- but soon no more? Simon has removed the original 1983 sculpt by Dimitri Hadzi. Developer Simon seeks to remove the warm, golden hues of the 30-year old mall and likely rearranging the concourse. Slated for a Spring 2017 completion, this fountain and garden scene will go the way as it has in most mall modernization efforts.
