Vegvisir Wall Plaque with a bronze finish. Displays the Viking compass in the center surrounded by the Elder Futhark.
The Vegvisir symbol is Icelandic for wayfinder, a symbol found in the Huld Manuscript (1860) It is described as a magical runic stave. The document states, Carry this sign with you and you will not get lost in storms or bad weather, even though in unfamiliar surrounds.   The plaque displays the Vegvisir symbol in the center surrounded by the Elder Futhark.  The plaque displays a wonderful bronze finish and measures 8 1/2. Fitted with a wall hanging on the back.  This piece looks great hanging on the wall or displayed on a stand.
