Pregnancy Hacks: The Rubber Band Pants Trick • Southern Chick Journal

By A Mystery Man Writer

I started to notice my pants getting tighter around the waist by about 11 and a half weeks. I was nowhere near big enough to buy maternity pants, but I was having trouble squeezing into my size 4 (sigh….I miss you size 4!) jeans comfortably. A friend told me about this little trick and it helped me stay in my jeans for a few more weeks: Get a thick hair rubber band and loop it around the buttonhole. Slip on your jeans and loop the rubber band around the button. Wear a long shirt and you can safely and securely keep your pants unzipped. It’s amazing!
