The Cartier Tank Basculante ref. 2390 The Tank Basculante was unveiled by Cartier in 1933, as part of its flagship watch line. The watch, thanks to a clever hinging system, was able to rotate through 360 degrees to hide the watch face like its contemporary rival the  JLC Reverso. The Basculante could also serve as a table clock too due to the unique hinging system. Our example is a reference 2390 with the high quality calibre by Piguet.
