Water birth is great, and if you like to stay covered, these birthing skirts make it even better! With my first water birth I made one of these skirts to match a top. I absolutely loved the experience! I was comfortable, covered, and no one saw anything they didn't need to. Instant favorite! The skirt and belly band are made from nylon lycra spandex (swim fabric) There's no elastic in the belly band, as it's just not comfy. I use a swim fabric for a special stretch binding, which gently gathers the band to the belly. As these skirts were designed for water birth, there isn't a panty or shorts built into them. ORDERING *Get this skirt in Black or Navy swim fabric (use the personalization box to tell me which color), and choose above knee, or below knee in the drop down menus. For water birth I prefer the shorter length, but I've had the longer length requested so I'm offering both!
