Circa 1890s, this side lacing maternity corset has adjustable shoulder straps and a curved wooden dowel and strap for back support.⁣

Approx 40 bust

32 middle waist

40 + plus more room for expansion across the lower abdomen

Condition is fair to good. There are rust stains throughout from the steel boning. A couple of small tears. Some of the boning is poking out from the channels.

Overall everything is intact and this is a wonderful study or display piece. It is likely not suitable for wearing.
