For the top we use NEW Soviet Era 100% cotton flannel (from my grandmother's unused fabric collection) The old Soviet Era 100% cotton flannel that we used for the top is super absorbent, very soft and way easier to look. We believe that zero waste reusable pads have a huge positive impact on both, environment and women health. They are also cost-effective in the long run as they are durable and with good care will serve you years to come. Disposables are typically made from a combination of plastics, cotton, synthetic fibers, wood pulp, synthetic fragrances. They are the cause for skin irritation, rashes, allergic reactions, hormone disruption, reproductive and gynecological disorders. Reusable cotton pads can be a great alternative for much more natural period care and improve intimate health. Measurements: Length: about 10,2” (26 cm) Width: (when snapped together) 2,8” (7 cm) Width of the pad: 3,1" (8 cm) Handmade with love. ONLY NATURAL MATERIALS - made from 2 layers of loop cotton, 100% cotton flannel top and 100% PUL cotton. LEAK-PROOF: Backed with a layer of 100% PUL cotton to secure from leaks. BREATHABLE - made with breathable PUL cotton and wool - wool aso helps to regulate the temperature. SUPER ABSORBENCY - feels light and thin, but has very good absorbency as loop cotton is super absorbent. SUPER EASY TO WASH AND TAKE CARE: The old Soviet Era 100% cotton flannel that we used for the top is super absorbent and way easier to look after than modern flannel fabrics - It will not loose color or shrink while washing, it also washes a lot easier too! Recommended for regular to heavy flow. Also perfect to start or finish your period or as a back up for menstrual cup, tampons, instead of panty liners for daily use. Care: Change the pad every 2 to 6 hours or as needed. After use, wash with cold water and soap. Washes easier if you let it soak in the cold water a bit. Machine wash after the cycle or as often as wanted. Please note that color might wash off a little bit after the first wash.
