This little wooden oak-coloured ships wheel probably started life as a barometer, probably from the inter-war or post-war period. A little salt-corroded plaque reads ‘Best Wishes for a Happy Future. The Birchhamites’. We’ve not been able to find out who the Birchamites were, but this had clearly been at sea for a while. We’ve fitted a new quartz movement and dial, one we thought fitted the overall style of the case. It has a mild tick and takes one AA battery. Measures 21cm diameter and about 4.5cm deep. Has a simple keyhole style hook for easily mounting on your wall.

Beautiful wall clock. Working and comes with battery (AA). Has both standard and military time. There are some spots on the metal- see pictures.
