Take the Plunge Swimsuit - Patterns for Pirates

This is a PDF sewing pattern and tutorial to teach you how to create these garments. THIS IS NOT A FINISHED PRODUCT. This intermediate knit pattern is a traditional, tight fitting one piece swimsuit with tons of options! It is fully lined and comes with directions to add bust support (sew in swim cups, power mesh and under bust elastic). All seams are enclosed and edges finished with elastic for a secure, traditional swimsuit fit and feel. This suit is the perfect suit to get you through years of summers! With all the options you can create sexy vacation wear as well as a comfortable and modest suit for the swim park with kiddos! The waistband hits at and slightly above the natural waistline so give a super slimming silhouette, while the gathered v at the shows off just enough to be flattering while feeling secure. The legs come up higher for a longer leaner look, but still keep cover enough to keep you from tugging away through swimming and offer full booty/cheek coverage. The retro vibe will be a classic for years to come and can be paired with so many different fabric pattern options for different looks! Options include: halter strap, low back with cross straps, full back straps, regular bottoms, ruched bottoms, and skirted bottom (with peplum and skirt length).
