Engraved Brass Plate on Solid Walnut Wood Plaque Starting at $51.95 A solid .032" thick  solid brass custom engraved plate (with 1/4" radius rounded corners) mounted on a solid plaque of cabinet quality, kiln dried, aged and finished walnut, with a nice margin to highlight the brass. There is a mounting slot on the back, if you want to hang your sign without a chain. The wood is hewed, cut, and kiln dried before being cut to size and routed, stained and finished with a weather and moisture resistant clear finish that shows off the wood's beautiful close grain. They come with a mounting/stabilizing slot on the back to hang as is, or to be used as a stabilizing device to prevent the sign from swinging about when hung from a stall door. These are cabinet-quality in all respects. The edges have a classic routed edge, not just a plain bevel or rounded edge.  We can't stress enough to you, that these are absolutely gorgeous and will wear beautifully. Since walnut is a much harder wood than oak or pine, the wood is far superior to any of the oak or pine ones we have seen offered. For $5 extra, we offer a solid brass chain and eye hooks mounted in the wood, so you can use the slot as a stabilizer, so the sign does not swing in the wind, or bang against the stall door. (Unless you state otherwise in the "Additional Instructions" box, we will mount the chain to provide a 4" drop to the top of the sign.As this is a more expensive purchase, we will be happy to make up a mock up photo for you, of the layout and font choices of your sign, so that you have an idea of how it will look. We can of course adjust to your taste.
