Description: 11¾ - 20 inches. Smooth Green Snakes are usually bright green, but may rarely be tan. The belly is light yellow. Hatchling Smooth Green Snakes are darker in appearance and may be olive green, gray, or even blueish. Similar Species: Smooth Green Snakes may be confused with Racers in pictures, but young Racers within the size range of Smooth Green Snakes will have a blotched appearance rather than being a solid color. Tan colored Smooth Green Snakes may be confused with Smooth Earth
