My Hobby: Rescuing plants from the clearance section (frugality forum at permies)

My favorite part of going to town, besides the beach, is checking the garden department clearance sections of our two hardware stores. What sad, sorry plants have you rescued from clearance or wherever and nursed back to health?

First time looking for proppable debris and I found all this at Home Depot on the floor. Am I doing this right? I've never tried to grow any of these plants before. Thank you! : r/proplifting
