The Mohawk-Hudson Bike-Hike Trail is a multi-use trail located along the Mohawk and Hudson rivers in Albany and Schenectady counties. The 40-mile trail runs from the Corning Preserve in downtown Albany to Rotterdam Junction with a few on-road sections. It is part of the NYS Canalway Trail System and the Hudson River Valley Greenway Trail System. Many miles of the trail were built on old railroad beds and canal towpaths, and remnants of the old Erie Canal can be found in many spots. There are also excellent views of the river and scenic parks in many places along the trail.
