You will fall in love at first sight with this Gorgeous 1960s Vintage coat in excellent condition CHENILLE CUT CARPET Coat Double Breasted Size Medium Gorgeous Vanilla hue Softest ever Cotton Blend with Satin Lining Nice belt band in back by Bagdad Styled by Fairmont Scroll all the way down for measurements :) This very versatile coat could fit even a small to a large frame. The double breasted overlap provides quite a bit of mover around space. This is a vintage faux fur coat styled by Fairmoor under their “Bagdad” brand name. The coat features a “swakara” or lamb texture - Fairmoor specialized in making these acrylic pile faux fur coats and produced very nice quality. The fabric was made by LaFrance, a division of Riegel Textile Corp. The faux fur is in a light cream or cloud hue with dimension. The coat has a wide pointy collar with notched lapel. There is a flap applied onto either side that makes it appear that there are patch pockets, but the pockets are actually built vertically into the sides. It is fully lined in Champagne satin. The double breast does up with 10 incredible Mother of Pearl & Black Cloisonne style Black Enamel buttons down the front, and a hidden top button if you wish to turn up the collar against the cold. The coat was missing buttons when I discovered it, so the Mother of Pearl buttons are also a vintage find that I thought could really light up the coat. They give it a sort of Mod Go Go look and are slenderizing because the cause the eye to look vertically at the figure! I love these buttons and they do allow me to call this a “One of a Kind” Coat. Not to ever be seen anywhere else!!! A couple of the photos show the "before" buttons, but I saved them because I like the photos.. Age: 1966-1970 Label: Safari Styled by Fairmoor Fabric by La France Div of Riegel Textile Corp Clean by Fur Coat Method Only. La France was acquired by Riegel in 1966 and then by Mount Vernon Mills in 1971. 🍃🌺🍃 Measurements are taken with the Coat laid flat and from side to side in inches🌼 The shoulder to shoulder measurement is taken from one shoulder sleeve seam to the other. Shoulder to shoulder: 17 inches Under arm to under arm: 21 inches Waist: 20 inches Hips: 21 Hemline is 60 inches all the way around (nice flare) Length from neckline to hemline: 39 inches Sleeve length from shoulder to cuff: 21 inches
