Our 5” hook and loop orange sanding discs are both versatile and durable. The discs are manufactured with a premium waterproof polyester film and an industrial grade aluminum oxide abrasive grain. They work well for both wet and dry sanding and are commonly used for auto body work. The discs may also be used for sanding and finishing fiberglass, plastic, and composites. Other popular uses include marine finishing and high-gloss finishing.  The aluminum oxide grain provides a fast cut rate with excellent longevity. This polyester disc offers superior strength and durability when compared to paper backed sanding discs. The flexible polyester film backing also offers superior performance when sanding uneven surfaces such as curves, corners, and other edge sanding applications.  The discs come in packs of 50.
