Long Branch Saloon, Dodge City

By A Mystery Man Writer

This is an ode to the infamous Long Branch Saloon, which was established in the 1800s. This bar, which is a portion of the Boot Hill Museum and is situated between the museum and Boot Hill Cemetery, offers tourists a look into the past of the Old West. The interiors take one to the late 19th century, when several standoffs, shootouts, and gunfights took place inside the saloon. Beer, sarsaparilla, and other drinks that were also offered back when it first started can still be enjoyed by the locals. The bar sadly burned to the ground in 1885. However, it was later rebuilt in 1947 and is home to several artefacts and hundreds of exotic pieces.
