Lateral hinges provide effective support and increase safety; the removable cushion around the patella opening stabilizes the patella and disengages the kneecap to avoid direct pressure on the knee. Specially designed to support the Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL), it may also be used for many different patella problems, including Chondromalacia, Patella Tendonitis, Subluxation and Dislocation.
