Hatchling Smooth Green Snakes are darker in appearance and may be olive green, gray, or even blueish. Similar Species: Smooth Green Snakes may be confused with Racers in pictures, but young Racers within the size range of Smooth Green Snakes will have a blotched appearance rather than being a solid color.
