Fabric has been unpicked from local festive costume, embroidered and pleated by village ladies. Stunning piece has rows of colourful cross stitch design on dark background. Known as Paj ntaub, or flower cloth, this is an exquisite example of Hmong embroidery - use it to create exquisite Table Runner, or DIY home decor projects and costumes. The fabric is in very good condition, is firm but lightweight and can be stretched out and ironed or left to show its pleated texture.It measures 170 cm long x 44cm wide (67" x 17.5").
