More docile in the wild than other primate species allowing to be approached, with patience. Newborn are orange in colour reverting to grey/brown within six months. Conservation status Near Threatened with loss of habitat the main concern.
This is a dusky leaf monkey and her baby. The baby is born bright yellow so if the mother ever loses the baby she can easily spot it in the green canopy
