The 2023 Spring/Summer model of Eight-G's work pants is packed with attention to detail.
Based on painted pants from the 1930s, these work pants are finished with fine hickory stripes and double-knee specifications.
While they have a vintage look, they have a modern silhouette that fits in comfortably with town use.
Made in Japan at the exclusive domestic factory of Eight-G they are highly supported for their high quality.

Because of its sturdiness, denim fabric was used as workwear by American railroad workers and other laborers.
The hickory pattern originated from a stripe pattern on denim fabric, which was devised to make stains less noticeable.
It is said that the reason white was chosen from among many colors for the stripe pattern was because workers in hot steam locomotives sought coolness in the shades of blue and white, and it is a historic design that continues to live up to the sensibilities of workers of that time.

The style is the authentic workwear double-knee painted pants.
The practical specification of reinforcing the knees with layers of fabric for workers who often work on their knees gives them a workwear-like look.
The pockets are also a feature, tailored to fit the shape of brushes, rulers, and other tools used by painters to store their work tools.
In this model, the hickory fabric is used for the body, while the denim fabric is applied to the double-knee portion and pockets in a crazy pattern to accentuate the design.

The fabric is made of 8 oz. herringbone twill, which has the tough work feel of double-knee, yet is light and comfortable to wear.
This fabric, also known as Sugi-Twill in Japan, is characterized by a V-shaped pattern that appears by alternating the right ascending right twill and left ascending left twill.
The fabric has the characteristics of both a strong right twill and a supple left twill, so it can be worn actively.
You can expect this item to change over time as it is worn.

The in-seam and out-seam are sewn with 3-needle rolled stitches for each knee pad, and up to 6 pieces of fabric are rolled for tough sewing specifications.
The thicker the fabric, the more difficult it is to sew, so it is finished by the hands of skilled craftsmen at our exclusive and reliable domestic factory.
In addition, the bottom of the front and rear patch pockets are covered with a force cloth, and every detail of strength is taken care of like workwear.
