This is a multi-day rock-climbing trip aimed at the traveler who is visiting for a long period and has a weekend to spare. Climbing fitness is recommended, but not essential. This multi-day rock-climbing adventure takes place in the picturesque town of Montagu, 200km from Cape Town. A sport climbing Mecca with more than 600 routes, there are routes for everyone - from beginner level to incidentally the hardest route in Africa. Single and multi pitch options abound and will take your breath away. The multi-pitch routes on the beautiful Cogman's Buttress and RAMSET Crag are very popular and are a must do for all.Montagu boasts a multitude of small coffee shops and restaurants, ready to quench your thirst after a day out in the mountain. Hot springs and Guano Caves are popular attractions as well. Various accommodation options are available, and the cost is based on camping in town with cottages or guest houses available to tailor the trip exactly to your liking at an additional fee .This adventure is a private booking and in the event of multiple bookings for the same time we do not combine adventures unless agreed with you. We advise making the booking a minimum of one week before the trip date, as we need the time to arrange permits, guides, food, and to sort out the transport logistics.
