CCM also uses a two-piece Thigh guard backed with added slash protection to wrap around your leg. These pads are fastened with an elastic strap to enable you to adjust the pad tighter or looser around your leg based on your preference.Spine ProtectionThe spine protector features a molded PE foam and a CCM shield to protect against any impacts, slashes and crosschecks. The kidney guards also feature a removable and molded plastic insert with foam backings for comfort.Fit/AdjustabilityEven though the 9K pro hockey girdle is a little heavier compared to other girdles, they offer a snug fit closer to the body to provide premium protection. The thigh guards are adjustable in length with a velcro adjustment for growing players. To fasten the girdle, a dual internal cinch belt tightens at the front to make sure the girdle is tight at the waist.
