This interactive recreation of Dodge City's historic Front Street-including the saloon, jail and church - will keep the entire family entertained. Within Boot Hill Museum's collection of more than 60,000 objects, photographs and documents are exhibits featuring the Kansas Cowboy Hall of Fame and an extensive gun collection. Also experience the Cowboy Hall of Fame; a project of Boot Hill Museum and was developed to preserve and honor the life of the Kansas cowboy. The five inductees each year are honored for their outstanding contribution to the western heritage lifestyle, past and present and to the preservation of the cowboy culture. The five categories are Rancher/Cattleman, Cowboy Entertainer, Cowboy Historian, Working cowboy and Rodeo Cowboy. The inductees are honored each year at the induction ceremony held at Boot Hill Museum.
