Createx Colors candy2o: Brandywine (4665) Made with Metal Complex Dyes that are Light-Fast Stable for an Optimized Color Life. The Createx Colors candy2o: Brandywine (4665) is a water-based paint that is perfect for airbrushing and can be used as a mid-coat over metallic bases. With its 100% transparent aniline dyes, this paint provides vibrant and eye-catching colors that will make your artwork stand out.To achieve the best results, we recommend using the 4050 UVLS Gloss Clear or the 4030 Balancing Clear as a carrier for the candy2o paint. These products allow for a more even and heavier color coat, resulting in a more professional finish. The 4050 UVLS Gloss Clear is especially recommended when applying the paint with a spray-gun.When using an airbrush, you can mix the candy2o paint with either the 4050 or the 4030 at a ratio of 10% to 300% per volume. Additionally, you can thin the mixture with the 4011 Reducer at a ratio of 5% to 20% per volume. For spray-gun application, we suggest using a 1.2mm to 1.3mm tip-size and adjusting the pressure to 18-22 psi. Allow the candy2o mix to acclimate for 10+ minutes before spraying. Mix the 4050 at a ratio of 3:1 with the candy2o paint, and then thin the mixture with the 4011 Reducer at a ratio of 5% to 10% per volume.To prevent bleeding or leaching of the dyes into top-coated colors or clear, it is recommended to apply the 4040 Bleed Checker over the candy2o paint.For more detailed information, please refer to the candy2o Technical Data Sheet available on our website.
