Audi A4 Aluminum Rad Support - Lite

After much demand we are now offering a lite version of our Audi A4 Aluminum rad support. We offer all the same features of the OE item, but to help make more space again we have released the center section of any material for easy 07K and VR6 fittment. This design also eliminates the OE boost tube across frame stubs, but can use an add on piece to add a snub mount on the B6/B7models (extra). This design keeps OE light and radiator mounting points. Race3 does not support the perfect fitment of some aftermarket radiators, these items were designed around the OE radiator for A4 and taller A4/S4 radiators. It has been reported to us from a few customers that some aftermarket rads arent fitting OE core suports well to begin with with re-use of AC condensor. If you are looking for adjustment of the radiator position, ask for this option - we have a design that has adjustable radiator mounting tabs. All supports made from 5052 Aluminum, and TIG welded. Choose from options to the right to select the best setup for your project. VR6 version not available with hood latch. 07K swaps and OE hood latch are only compatible on B6 and B7 A4 chassis with transmission in the OE location. The hood latch on a B6 and B7 model sit further forward compared to a B5. As of 02-2024 - Fitment confirmed on B6 S4 V8 - working on small revision for aux rad. Also shown is a fan shroud available separately - Utilizing a 12" and 9" Spal fan for any model. B6 designs will require you transfer your hood stop and lower head light support bracket to the new rad support. As of 12-2022 : B6 and B7 models have been adjusted to make clearance for upper hood stops and additional radiator clearance for the taller core of B7 radiator. B7 designs will require transfer of your upper, inside headlight suport brackets to the new rad support. B6/B7 design retains OE power steering cooler mounting point. Trimming may be required for twin cooled 2.7T setups. Contact us for additional radiator/fan/IC combos.
