Guinness World Records has named Spike, a 23-year-old dog, the oldest living dog.
Spike is best friends with everybody, according to his owner.
Lori Purdy rescued Gnatt a decade ago when he was emaciated and almost put down. “It was a Hallmark movie story,” Purdy said of Gnatt’s impressive win at the American Kennel Club’s 100-yard race.
