Add some elegance to your tabletop or mantel with this identical pair of mid 19th century English candlesticks in a quality brass. The knopped baluster stems rise from round bases. The candlesticks retain their original push-rod ejectors, which were used to extract candle wax from the sockets. The ejectors are in good working condition and slide smoothly.
They are in excellent antique condition with a mellow patina and have normal wear commensurate with age and use. This pair comes from a beautiful collection of period English candlesticks and they are indeed very characteristic of English quality craftsmanship, still prevalent in the first half of the 19th century.
